The Personal Edition is free. By downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Software, you (the "User") agree to be bound by this Personal Use End User License Agreement (the "Agreement"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1.1 "Personal Use" means use by an individual for non-commercial purposes, such as hobby projects, personal learning, and items made for yourself, family, or friends without payment. Classroom instruction and student coursework at an accredited school are also Personal Use, provided no Output is sold.
1.2 "Commercial Use" means any use that is not Personal Use, including:
(a) use by or on behalf of a business, government body, or other organization;
(b) making, marking, or engraving any product, part, sign, tool, or item that is sold, rented, given away as a promotion, or supplied to a customer;
(c) client work, contract manufacturing, or any paid service;
(d) designs, drawings, models, or documentation delivered to a customer or used in a business operation;
(e) use in any logo, trademark, or brand identity.
1.3 "Output" means anything you create by using the Software, including text in CAD sketches, 3D models, drawings, toolpaths, G-code, and physical items that are engraved, cut, embossed, printed, or otherwise marked with the characters.
Marconnet Technologies LLC grants the User a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices the User owns or controls, for Personal Use only. You may keep and use Output for Personal Use.
Evaluation. A business may install the Software for up to 30 days solely to evaluate whether to buy a Commercial License. No Output made during evaluation may be sold, delivered to a customer, or used in production.
Commercial Use of the Software or of any Output is not permitted under this Agreement. The Commercial Edition, sold under a separate Commercial License, includes full manufacturing rights, the Bold weight, the full character set, exact DXF files, STEP cutter bodies, and the full Engraving Generator (all characters and STEP output). Contact [email protected].
The User may NOT:
(a) Redistribute. Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, share, or make the Software available for download by others, alone or bundled with any files, templates, CAD libraries, or products.
(b) Modify the Software. Alter, translate, convert, decompile, rename, or create derivative font files, stroke fonts, character libraries, or tools from the Software, or alter the Engraving Generator to unlock characters or features. (Editing your own Output in CAD is permitted.)
(c) Build a competing product. Use the Software, its glyph shapes, centerlines, or geometry to create, train, or improve a competing font, typeface, engraving library, or similar product.
(d) Claim ownership. Claim copyright or ownership of the typeface design, centerlines, or geometry contained in the Software.
(e) Remove notices. Remove or change any copyright, license, name, or version information in the Software.
You may make backup copies for your own use, provided each copy keeps all notices.
The Software is licensed, not sold. The Software, including its single-line (OpenLine) and exact-offset (Rounded) centerline geometry, is the exclusive intellectual property of Marconnet Technologies LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Font files store curves as spline approximations, and CAD programs, CAM programs, and machine controllers may interpret geometry differently. The Licensor does not warrant that the Software will import, rebuild, draft, or machine correctly in any particular software or on any particular machine.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARCONNET TECHNOLOGIES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR ANY OUTPUT, including scrapped or damaged material, tool breakage, machine crashes, hardware damage, or inaccuracies arising when your CAD/CAM software imports or converts the geometry. Because the Software is free, the Licensor's total liability shall not exceed US $1.
You are solely responsible for checking all geometry, depths, feeds, speeds, tooling, work holding, and machine setup, and for simulating or proving out any toolpath before running it. Machine tools carry a risk of injury and damage; follow all safety practices for your equipment.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
This license ends automatically if you breach any term of this Agreement. On termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Output lawfully made for Personal Use before termination may be kept for Personal Use. Sections 4 through 7 and Section 9 survive termination.
Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of PENNSYLVANIA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
Entire agreement. This Agreement, together with the Licensee's invoice and any written OEM license, is the entire agreement between the parties about the Software. If they conflict, a signed written license from Marconnet Technologies LLC controls.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions stay in effect.
No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
Assignment. The Licensee may not assign or transfer this Agreement or the license without the Licensor's written consent, except to a successor that acquires substantially all of the Licensee's business and agrees to this Agreement. The Licensor may assign this Agreement.

(f) Remove notices. Remove or change any copyright, license, name, or version information in the Software, or rename the fonts.
The Software is licensed, not sold. The Software, including its single-line (OpenLine) and exact-offset (Rounded) centerline geometry, DXF translations, STEP cutter bodies, and the Engraving Generator, is the exclusive intellectual property of Marconnet Technologies LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved.
"Marconnet CAD" and "Marconnet Technologies" are names of the Licensor. This Agreement grants no right to use them except to identify the fonts accurately.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Font files store curves as spline approximations, and CAD programs, CAM programs, and machine controllers may interpret geometry differently. Marconnet Technologies LLC does not warrant that any font, DXF file, STEP file, toolpath, or G-code will import, rebuild, draft, or machine correctly in any particular software or on any particular machine.
Given the physical nature of CAD and CNC machining, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Marconnet Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of the Software or any Output. This includes, but is not limited to:
(a) scrapped, ruined, or damaged materials and parts;
(b) tool breakage, machine crashes, or hardware damage;
(c) loss of profits, production time, or business interruption;

In any event, the Licensor's total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the license fee the Licensee paid for the Software.
The Licensee assumes full responsibility for verifying all geometry, depths, feeds, speeds, tooling, work holding, and machine setup, and for simulating or proving out every toolpath before physical machining. Machine tools carry a risk of injury and damage; follow all safety practices for your equipment.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to the Licensee.
The Licensor may release updated versions of the Software. Updates provided to the Licensee are governed by this Agreement unless they come with a different agreement. The version of this Agreement supplied with a copy of the Software governs that copy.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Marconnet Technologies LLC may terminate this license immediately if the Licensee fails to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must stop using the Software and destroy all copies in its possession.
Output lawfully made and delivered before termination may continue to be used, sold, and supported. Sections 4 through 7 and Section 10 survive termination.
